MACHINE CARE

A dirty machine means no matter how good the coffee, or how skilled the barista, your coffee will taste gritty. Let us help you in keeping your machine clean and ready for that perfect cup. Follow these steps and you will never have a bad coffee experience again..

SOME TIPS TO USE YOUR EQUIPMENT THE RIGHT WAY, TO MAKE SURE YOUR MACHINE STAYS IN TOP SHAPE!

Choose your pitcher, Fill the pitcher about a third, Purge the steam-wand,  Insert steamwand into pitcher (15 degree angle),  Submerge steam tip about halfway below the surface, Turn on steamwand and add air,  At body temp submerge steamwand more milk should twirl, heat till desired temperature (70 – 80 degree), close steamwand and purge, wipe with wet cloth, give the milk a swirl and pour into espresso.

Grind your coffee into porta filter,  (18 grams more or less), you can check your weight if you want to on a scale,  level your coffee mound, tamp precisely with your newly bought PUQPRESS,  flush the grouphead, insert porta filter, place cups, start brewing, watch volume and time, stop brewing, serve and enjoy.

Place detergent in (more or less 6 grams per 1lt of water), remove basket from portafilter, cover metal on portafilter with water, soak for 30min, 3grams in blind basket, run through grouphead for 10 seconds (3 to 5 times), use grouphead brush to get in corners, rinse well afterwards.

OUR EQUIPMENT RANGE

Founded in 1927 by Giuseppe and Bruno Bambi, La Marzocco had its beginnings in Florence, Italy, birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and home to such geniuses as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Brunelleschi who created some of the most celebrated works of art in the world. It seems only fitting that La Marzocco would earn a world renown reputation for making beautiful, high quality, superbly crafted and uniquely designed espresso machines, with great attention to detail. In 1939, it was La Marzocco that developed and patented the first coffee machine with a horizontal boiler, now an industry standard.

Every coffee bean has its own story; dozens of different stories come together in a cup of espresso. Savouring a good coffee is like reading a good book that conjures faraway lands and the aroma of Italy. Every day throughout the world, this story repeats itself with an ending that never disappoints: the unmistakable sensation of a coffee prepared with an Astoria machine.

Rocket Espresso produces the finest espresso machines in the tradition of ‘Fatto a Mano’ translated to, ‘made by hand’. Our small team of craftsmen produce both premium domestic and commercial espresso machines, beautifully made with meticulous care and attention to detail.
